Books
A great place to start with a new draft is an Editorial Assessment where I read through your work and provide an editorial letter that assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the manuscript—looking at structure, dialogue, character development, flow, and more—and offer suggestions for improvement. A Line Edit might be recommended if your prose requires some stylistic finessing, done within Track Changes, to address clunky sentence structure, awkward phrasing, inconsistencies, unintentional tense switches, etc. In addition to grammar and punctuation, the final stage of Copyediting will address the continuity and consistency of the story, accompanied by a style sheet.

Screenplays
Every line in a screenplay must move the story forward in compelling and intentional ways. With a Script Edit, I will help guide you to a well-written feature or pilot, whether original or adapted, with suggestions for plot, pacing, character development, dialogue, structure, and more. I can also guide you in developing a Treatment or Bible suitable for pitching. Both these services include a written review and in-line notes.

Coaching
Sometimes talking through an idea out loud is the best way to discover its strengths. Story Coaching is done over video/calls to help you gain confidence in your story idea and guide you as you develop it and avoid getting stuck in an unproductive storyline. It will also assist with your time management, providing deadlines and encouragement so the project doesn't stall and you lose sight of your goal.
